You're probably better off getting OS 10.5 and running 7.4.2. However, from what I remember, that's the version when Digi/Apple were making the transition to Intel and there were tons of compatibility issues. After installation all you have to do is browse to where your image file is saved on your Mac and 'mount' it as a virtual drive using DAEMON Tools.
